Who we are

Established in 2025, QEV Associates takes its name from the Latin "Quid Est Veritas," meaning "What is Truth."

Plato's Allegory of the Cave depicts prisoners chained in a cave since birth, facing a wall where they see only shadows cast by objects behind them. They believe these shadows are reality. When one prisoner escapes and discovers the outside world—experiencing sunlight and true forms—he realizes the shadows were mere illusions. Returning to free the others, he struggles to convince them, as they're hostile to his claims about a reality beyond their experience. The allegory represents humanity's journey from ignorance to philosophical enlightenment, illustrating how education involves turning the soul from darkness to light, and how truth can be difficult to accept and share.
